He has developed several popular open-source security tools, including statistics-based password-cracking methods. Julian also co-founded Truffle Security, creators of the widely used open-source tool TruffleHog. Recently, he established a new DEFCON village called GameHacking.GG promotes interest and awareness in-game security.
