Major German health insurance companies and healthcare providers need a solution to support the country's electronic patient (ePA) record system. Given the sensitivity of private medical information, the technology infrastructure must ensure data security for 50 - 60 million citizens. IBM worked with Edgeless Systems to enable Confidential Computing at scale with support from Intel Xeon processors and Intel SGX.
