This paper examines the potential implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in hospitals through a comprehensive review of the relevant literature. The study aims to elucidate the current state of AI adoption in hospitals by identifying specific AI applications already in use and examining the factors influencing their implementation. Key AI applications in diagnostics, treatment planning, hospital administration, patient management, and research are highlighted, demonstrating the transformative potential of AI in healthcare. However, successful deployment requires addressing critical issues such as privacy and security, staff and patient acceptance, regulatory compliance, data quality assurance, ethical considerations, and a robust technical infrastructure. By addressing these challenges, hospitals can fully leverage AI to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes. This research provides valuable insights for healthcare providers and policymakers seeking to effectively integrate AI technologies into hospital systems.
