This presentation is about analysis of technological pinout of NAND memory in such devices as microSD, eMMC and other monolithic chips using a logic analyzer. By analyzing and interpreting the signals exchanged between the NAND flash memory and its controller, we demonstrate techniques for reverse-engineering communication protocols. This approach is particularly valuable for security researchers and forensic investigators aiming to recover data from NAND flash memory.
