The game is on and software is playing a bigger part with every released car. real Software in modern cars started with the CAN-Bus and the need for a electronic synchronisation between engine and transmission in the 90s. Later emission regulations changed the game and entertainment took a bigger role. Now we have even nearly software defined cars. Maybe you were lucky and got one of the few spaces of my Workshop in 2022. Now I am back. If not don’t be scared we got you covered. I will give you an introduction in a lot of different ways to connect to modern cars. We will use tools from Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Arduino based Macchina M2 to special interfaces for EV-conversions. You will learn the basics starting from OBD-II Interface (the black ugly plug nearly every car has) up to Diagnosis Software in a Tesla. You will make your Hands dirty (just virtually of course) by diving into a new world.
