Since AMOS hit the market in Spring 2023, there have been a number of macOS stealers advertised on underground forums. AMOS’s operation sparked interest among forum members and other developers who wanted a piece of the pie. This talk covers the actors developing and advertising these tools, how the stealers are distinct and similar, and customer campaigns as well as a discussion of what the macOS stealer explosion means for the broader eCrime ecosystem.
