The rapid development of the generative AI (GenAI) space has opened the door to significant time savings across a wide range of domains. As a stakeholder in the security operations domain, Rapid7 relentlessly pursues every opportunity to drive down the time-to-action for security incidents across our platform. While GenAI alone can, and is, helping us in this area, it is apparent that a greater benefit can be realized through the combination of GenAI with the knowledge sharing of the wider security community. We posit that the integration of OASIS Open standards such as STIX and Collaborative Automated Course of Action Operations (CACAO) playbooks with GenAI can lead to much faster threat and response intelligence adoption across organizational boundaries.
