Nowadays, sharing information about threats is crucial in cybersecurity incidents to stay on top of the attackers and also better protect ourselves. Based on our observations, organisations, CERT/CSIRT and alike are sharing more and more leading to significant data increase where issues like data quality, collaboration and trust must be dealt with. This talk highlights how these issues are being tackled by MISP and provides guidelines on how to be a competent user and how to successfully run a sharing community. Attendees interested in having a quick overview of techniques and strategies will be presented practical use-cases and guidelines on how to succeed in a sharing community.
