The Norwegian National Security Authority recently released new advice about IT security measures, some regarding security monitoring. How should companies of different sizes implement this advice? The possibilities are endless, as is the tactics. What seems clear is that companies want increased visibility over security incidents. By doing so hoping to make security work more efficient, meet regulatory requirements, and quickly detect threats and mitigate them. The road from decision to final implementation is broken and consists of many choices. In this talk, Henning Gaalaas will highlight various aspects of choices that must be made on the road to implementation.
