This session will explore an innovative wireless communication through light spectrum, Li-Fi, considered as a potential secondary channel for 5G wireless communications in IoT/IIoT use cases. Discover how Li-Fi can resolve IoT interoperability challenges and has strengths in energy efficiency and ultra-high bandwidth, but also has weakness in transmission range and obstacles in transmission paths. In this session we will review couple use cases of Li-Fi + 5G wireless communication such as Autonomous/Connected vehicles and Platooning.
