In this presentation we will examine several common lateral movement techniques using the MITRE ATT&CK framework and describe quick wins for Windows based networks. We will touch on using both the basic and advanced features of the Windows firewall and how segmentation is your friend. We will also look at how thinking of offensive techniques as principles will assist defenders in architecting or rearchitecting networks.
