This interactive session will focus on the California Consumer Privacy Act going into effect 01/01/2020, and any changes that occurred since its unanimous passing. The presenter will discuss: Key parts of GDPR and the NYDFS regulation; NISTS's efforts for a Privacy Framework and what that entails; The current efforts toward a national federal privacy law; and Key parts from other international privacy laws. The presenter will identify how to comply with Article 25, Privacy by Design to achieve Privacy by Default and the NYDFS regulation. After the session, attendees will leave with the knowledges to think about and consider how to implement Compliance on Demand, and how Privacy by Design, encryption and key management, and automating data subjects' rights fits into compliance on demand and combines to not only go far toward compliance, but also earn the trust of your customers, and differentiate your company from your competition.
