Symantec’s Managed Adversary and Threat Intelligence team will present on recent activity observed by a state-sponsored adversary known as DESTROYER. Due to the increasing prominenceof the host country—Vietnam—in the global manufacturing supply chain, it is likely that the DESTROYER group’s current targeting—focused largely on automotive manufacturing—will expand to cover additional industries with operations in Vietnam and/or which alignwith the Vietnam‘s political and economic agenda. The group’s attack methodology will be discussed as well as the implications and practical application of the intelligence across multiple industries.
