This presentation will introduce you to cyber intrusion tools that help to prevent cyber intrusions threats from entering and harming your network. I will present an overview of IDS, HIDS and IPS and look at some of the popular tools used today by Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Host-Based Intrusions Detection Systems (HIDS). An overview of hacking techniques will also be briefly discussed.Learning Outcomes:An understanding of intrusion prevention systems, an overview of how IDS systems operate and fit into an organisation’s security plan and a look at 10 popular IDS/HIDS/IPS tools used today
