People are being empowered through technology like never before. AI, Machine Learning, and automation are amplifying our human capacity. Applied to cybersecurity, these technologies help our defenders to stay ahead of well-funded adversaries. However, the cybersecurity landscape is at a point where attackers will have a growing the advantage. With more than a million cybersecurity jobs unfilled and a projected shortfall of more than three million security professionals by 2021, there simply aren’t enough defenders to keep pace with the growing profit cybercrime offers. If we are to empower people through AI, Machine Learning and automation, we as an industry must foster more inclusive cyber communities if we are to address this shortfall.
