When it comes to cyber security of Industrial Control Networks, the biggest problem is the lack of OT knowledge among cyber security professionals. Most everyone in cyber security has the IT knowledge, but it cannot always be applied to an OT situation. For instance, when running an Nmap scan on a utility's production network, if you do too intense of a scan, you can lock up the Remote Terminal Units (RTU's).
