Under the track, “Defining the Profession,” this presentation will highlight different skills and roles required in an organization to address the technical challenges and the business challenges from the server room to the Boardroom. The presentation highlights three main areas of cybersecurity professionals, the in-depth technical talent, the business-focused executives in the Boardroom, and the cybersecurity “bridge” professional that "speaks both languages" to link the two; one who understands risk management, and can help an organization survive in an evolving threat landscape in cyberspace.
