Zero Trust is not a new concept. it was bandied about due to frustrations trying to apply traditional security to the ever evolving landscape of threats and threat actors. We've reached a fever pitch where attacks and data breaches are at an all time high and none of our current security tools or practices are very much help. We need a new approach. a new philosophy. This is where the Zero Trust model comes in. i'll talk about practical ways to apply a "Zero Trust" approach to security and how it doesn't have to be a "rip and replace" conversation.
