In this session you will learn how YOU can hack tens of millions of vehicles to extract contacts, call logs, text messages, and more! Bad news: the bad guys likely know this trick (and others) too, and there is a new generation of identity thieves, stalkers, and worse who can cause mayhem more easily than ever. During this session the presenter will share his perspective on the role the auto industry, legislature, and the law enforcement and forensic communities can take to improve the security and privacy of citizens.
