This session comes out of the research of the largest drone forensics research program in the world. This project, funded by the United States Department of Homeland Security, is identifying and defining the forensics best practices for the retrieval of data from consumer and professional level drones. This research-based session will identify recent cases affecting law enforcement and investigators, outline the research protocol for this government funded project, and share current results on the drones that have been interrogated.
