Vehicle cyber security is increasingly on the rise, yet still is a widely unknown field of knowledge. Analysis of a vehicle’s infotainment system (radio unit) have identified potential vulnerabilities in various vehicle manufacturers. These vulnerabilities relate to mobile devices, voice activation, and vehicle telematics. Discovered vulnerabilities, solution to those vulnerabilities, as well as forecasting into the future will be the primary goal of this discussion.
