Journalists and researchers find themselves in an environment where their digital devices are subject to searches, forced decryption and destruction - threatening their work and making source protection even harder. In this talk we will describe and present a tool designed for protecting data at border crossings.We're going to present a tool for helping against forced decryption:Cypherlock: A distributed decryption oracle with a "time lock" state machine that allows creating messages that can only be decrypted at a user-defined future time slot.The tool shows the combination of anonymous communication, distributed systems and cryptography as a model to solve problems of cryptography linked to time.The Cypherlock software is going to be released to the public at the conference.
