We will discuss how career development can be supported through community activities such as presenting at conferences, volunteering and competitions with panelists sharing their experiences, best practices and how to engage their employers to support these activities. Each panelist will share how these experiences helped them learn new technical and non-technical skills. Finally, we will provide insight on how recruiters view these community involvements.
