As security practitioners, it's easy to become set in our ways, and decry loudly each new technology buzzword that comes along - and that's not an unreasonable attitude on the surface. Unfortunately, this tendency can be detrimental to our profession and our careers, by leaving us ill-prepared to provide constructive security advice when the rest of the enterprise is forging ahead. I know; I've been there.This talk will make the case for security professionals to not fear the DevOps revolution, but to embrace it, and give real, actionable advice on how embracing DevOps as a security professional can move your security practice to the next level.
