Abstract: As criminal organizations and state-sponsored hackers continue to penetrate our network defenses, senior government officials, C-suite executives and the general public are demanding faster innovation from their security providers. Keeping pace with a well-funded adversary requires solution providers to streamline the insertion of innovative technologies into their existing and emerging platforms. However, much of the innovation in security is coming from geographic ecosystems that are different than what are considered to be traditional centers of information technology innovation. This dislocation slows the insertion of innovative security approaches into the existing supply chain.
