ICS Jedi’s must master their own version of the FORCE. This session will provide instruction from Nozomi’s founder, Andrea Carcano, known among ICS experts and academics as a pioneer in defeating the dark forces that aim to disrupt critical infrastructure operations on this planet. Mastering Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and using it to effectively to detect suspicious anomalies that might be dangerous to Industrial Control Systems is a skill involving many disciplines. Even those that invest the time and effort required to become DPI experts might not be ICS security Jedi though. To truly harness the FORCE, DPI assessment needs to happen very rapidly and be communicated with real-time insight to those whose systems are threatened. Warnings need to take into account deep knowledge of the ICS and its process. Come to this session to learn DPI and its FORCE to secure the control systems in our galaxy.
