For Turner Construction, Lean methods started in the field and worked their way from the outside in. In its construction projects, the company adopted Lean principles to drive efficiency by eliminating redundancy and waste, enhancing collaboration and improving project outcomes. Turner’s IT team was all too familiar with trying to manage demand while functioning in excess of the available capacity.
