There is an under researched branch of the Internet of Things: The Internet of Dongs. Sex toys have now become internet connected devices and subject to a whole host of risks and vulnerabilities. More so than many IoT devices, IoD devices, due to their private and intimate nature, should consider security and privacy more than any others. They should, but it turns out that they dont. This talk will explore the latest generation of connected sex toys on the market and the analysis of the security on some of these devices we’ve acquired and tested so far. This talk will also talk about the IoD project and how we are trying to influence vendors to be more secure with their devices.
