The Scarcity of Security Talent – How Does Technology Fit In?

No ratings

Presented at CISOnewjersey 2016 by

The increased complexity of the threat landscape has significantly increased the demand for security talent. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected the demand for information security analysts will increase by 37 percent between 2012 and 2022, with the need to hire an additional 100,000 experts in the next six years. Often, security technologies only propagate the problem, requiring highly skilled personnel to operate them. In this session, we will discuss how new technology approaches can augment human talent and help relieve the security shortage. Executive boardrooms are intimate and interactive sessions designed to foster dynamic dialogue around a specific, strategic topic. These private, closed-door discussions encourage attendee participation and are limited to 15 attendees (seating priority is given to CXOs).
