The Southwest Education Area Security Awareness Team (SEASAT), using the SANS 20 standards and through collaboration with UEN has developed a set of surveys for K-12 teachers, administrators and technical staff to help collect information and data regarding the current state of security in schools, districts, regions or possibly the state. This data is being used to create focused and meaningful professional development of all educational stakeholders ensuring security processes are moving forward and to a higher level in our schools. This workshop will review the process that SEASAT used to develop these tools, a review of sample data collected, and our next steps .
