Talos has access to multiple terabytes of data, and one of the things we do is proactively hunt bad guys just so we can piss them off. I stumbled across a bad guy doing bad things and started taking a closer look which resulted in the research that will presented in this talk. This talk will discuss research done on identifying relationships between domain pricing, aggregation of malicious sites, and repeat offenders (bad actors). It will discuss why deeply discounting domains makes a registrar a malware magnet and how to find bad actors before you become a victim.
