Both medical and SCADA systems can be operated, configured, and monitored via remote control. They are often connected to the internet. The speaker will provide an overview of vulnerabilities in application-specific software used in medicine and industrial production. The vulnerabilities were discovered using EAST (exploits and security tools), a framework similar to Metasploit.
