A lot of people seem to be interested in "getting into cyber security" or becoming a penetration tester. Breaking into the field isn't easy and it probably shouldn't be your first job after college. This talk will discuss the skills and abilities we look for when people are interested in joining the team or progressing in their career. I'll also share some of the decisions which may have negatively impacted my own career.
