It is estimated that there are 1 million job openings for cyber security experts in the US. Information-driven product design uses information theory to combine data and security skills while developing profitable products. Information theory defines a logarithmic measure of information that is impartial to the value of information. This impartial property will guide our product development and on the one hand, enable more data-driven design while on the other hand restrict the information we reveal to the outside world for a potential misuse
