As enterprise companies evolve their IT stack, traditional security approaches/architectures need to be reconsidered as well. Data is behind the firewall and out in the cloud — employees want seamless access from work, home and on their mobile devices. There are point solutions that promise to “secure the gap” for niche use cases, but continuing to patch with multiple security products isn’t scalable. This discussion covers the evolution of enterprise security architecture and the newer cloud security technologies being introduced to the market.
