James Shira, former CISO and head of technology and architecture at Zurich Insurance Company, knows the impact a well-organized cybersecurity team can have on an organization. This session will cover Zurich’s cybersecurity journey — from building out the team to its current state. Shira will describe the successes, obstacles and future road map of the team, as well as how the security function is evolving. In addition, Shira will help IT leaders understand how to make sense from all the noise around information, data and cybersecurity, and take that information to formulate realistic (affordable and actionable) mid- to long-term strategies.
