A recent survey conducted by the U.S. Secret Service, the CERT Insider Threat Center, CSO Magazine, and Deloitte found that in cases where respondents could identify the perpetrator of an electronic crime, 21 percent were committed by insiders. Randy Trzeciak draws from CERT Insider Threat Center analyses of more than 1,000 cases involving inside actors to reveal behavior patterns that indicate an insider threat and best practices that can prevent or accelerate detection of insider attacks. He’ll offer protective measures and quick, high-impact solutions organizations can adopt now to jump-start a socio-technical defense against insider threats.
