We're drowning in 'Big Data', but Don't Panic Where is the value in visualizing infosec data? Well, if you're going for budget it helps and let's be honest, no one expects management to sift through logs like we do let alone see what we see and discover. We'll take a look a humorous look into the practical application of security data visualization. We'll discuss some of the tools that we as security practitioners can leverage to tell the tales of life in the infosec trenches, and look at a couple of case studies where 'visualizing data' clearly demonstrated what raw data and log files could not.
