Lots of people love to write code in Python and lots of people have been disappointed that they couldn’t write Autopsy™ modules in Python. That has now changed. Autopsy allows you to write ingest modules in Python so that you can more easily analyze file content. Ingest modules allow you to access any file in a disk image or set of logical files and allow full access to the database and blackboard.
