Simple, Scalable, Secure: With a clean sheet of paper and three prime directives, a revolutionary automation platform has been built. Applying best practices and extreme innovation, a modern ICS will address the cyber threat while simplifying and cost reducing the automation experience. As an example, reducing the system attack surface imparts simplification and all aspects of lifecycle cost, while hardening embedded systems from the inside out to cyber, EMP, and other forms of malicious nation state attacks imparts significantly improved reliability and MTBF.
