Roughly seven percent of the world’s largest sites are available over IPv6. While that’s a step in the right direction, the number is still shockingly low. Join Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of CloudFlare, to hear about the differences–if any–when it comes to DDoS attacks on IPv4 versus on IPv6. By default CloudFlare enables IPv6 to all of its customers, and has studied the differences of both versions. Understand how attacks attacks have changed in terms of characteristics, size, and attack type. Attendees will learn the key security implementations to focus on when moving from IPv4 to IPv6, how DDoS attacks have evolved from IPv4 to IPv4 and why the attack scope is smaller on IPv6.
