Enterprise cloud deployments are now starting to include large amounts of protected personal data subject to compliance, regulatory and legal requirements—including healthcare, financial, customer and employee information, as well as traditional IP. With this reality, the problem of locking down data-at-rest within infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) implementations becomes a critical deployment requirement.
