Session included with registration A distinguished diplomat, successful businessman, and twice-elected governor of Utah, Jon Huntsman, Jr. brings to ASIS 2014 his bipartisan, global perspective. His keynote will explore the key issues and challenges facing the world today that affect our industry. Governor Huntsman began his public service career as a staff assistant to President Reagan. He since has served four U.S. presidents in critical roles around the world including Ambassador to Singapore, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Asia, U.S. Trade Ambassador, and most recently U.S. Ambassador to China. After leaving China, Huntsman ran for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. He now is co-chair of No Labels, a growing citizens’ movement crossing party lines dedicated to promoting a new politics of problem solving. (Bio)
