As the number of projects increase in OpenDaylight, it becomes more diffcult to create appropriate release editions. As such the Apache Karaf distribution provides end-users and developers with the ability to choose which core features or add-on they wish to have in their OpenDaylight installation using both command-line or the DLUX user interface. Moreover, this hands-on tutorial will start from operational basics on how to work with a karaf-based distribution of OpenDaylight as an end-user to a more detailed developper session that shows the tips & tricks on how to develop based on that distribution. This hands-on tutorial should have two parts: Part I – Using Apache Karaf-based OpenDaylight distributions, Part II – Developping against Apache Karaf-based OpenDaylight distributions.
