As we rush full-speed towards the "wilderness" of the 50 billion connected devices, projected by analysts for 2020, we are all excited and inspired by the wealth of possibilities the new reality can bring. The "jungle" of IoT is no amusement park, however. In addition to the endless possibilities it certainly brings dark corners of the unknown and plenty of dangers with it, as well. In this talk, we will take a critical look at the future of Internet of Things with tens of billions of devices in it. What will be fundamentally different about it compared to the contemporary web that we are used to? What tools and infrastructure do we have now and what do we need to build to tame the "wilderness"?
