Presented at CISOVancouver 2014 by

With all the hype surrounding privacy over the last decade, many security practices spend the bulk of their time focused on protecting the confidentiality of information. While confidentiality is important, data integrity is also paramount. In certain industries like healthcare and finance, inaccurate or maliciously altered data can have catastrophic and even life-threatening consequences. With so much focus on privacy, data integrity often becomes merely an afterthought for many security practices. This discussion will raise awareness on the importance of data integrity in a world focused on privacy, and the different challenges security practices face in the protection of data integrity versus data confidentiality. Executive boardrooms are intimate and interactive sessions designed to foster dynamic dialogue around a specific, strategic topic. These private, closed-door discussions encourage attendee participation and are limited to 15 attendees (seating priority is given to CISOs).
