When Ergon’s Greg Ostendorf took the reigns as CIO, he was tasked with retooling IT and aligning technology with operational strategy to maximize efficiencies and drive rapid business growth. Ostendorf realized that to achieve these objectives, he would have to develop partnerships across business units and frame his initiatives in terms of bottom-line value. Drawing on lessons from his business and finance background, Ostendorf will illuminate the ways in which he was able to develop and leverage these relationships, more fully integrate business and technology and implement large-scale, transformational initiatives across the enterprise, elevating all of Ergon in the process.
