There is a perception of a disconnect between Boards and Technology and Information Security in particular. At the same time technology underpins organisations in practically everything they do. Much of the challenge may be around the process of communication and the linkage to the organisation’s strategy, and the Director’s perception that the “large and expansive” reports of impacts don’t sit with their experience. This session will discuss some of the key concepts that Directors use in their thinking and analysis of information and how to link these concepts to the themes of Trusted Security.
