Scanning the internet used to be very hard, there are some recent tools and techniques that can be used to scan the entire internet on a regular basis. This opens up opportunities for identifying assets, tracking adversaries and exposing servers as they move around dynamic addresses. During this talk we will go over tools, techniques to create a simple scanner that will fingerprint hosts and store this data in a very simple format. We will also go into methods of storing this data to create a relationship database on a massive scale using commodity hardware.
