INL researchers will be comparing and contrasting the attack technology (vulnerabilities or exploits) to show one mechanism for consuming threat intelligence and developing a security response plan. Technical threat information from a variety of ICS-specific attacks, vulnerability disclosures, or exploit code releases will be broken down using the ATAC methodology. Examples of what will be covered in the presentation: - What is attack style? - Why does attack style matter? - Do different attack styles require different defenses? - Do defenders have to have specific information about the threat actor to respond a threat? And to make it interesting the examples will be based on some of the most prolific vulnerability researchers in ICS.
